Grains of Gratitude

This is my first attempt at a grains of gratitude post. I got the idea from several other blogs I've been reading, but the main idea is to post things you are grateful for from the last week. I will be posting one every Sunday.

1.Grateful I didn't have to work last week because I needed the whole off to study for a test on Friday. Even though I LOVE my job at St. Jude's Children's research hospital, it is nice to have a week off.

2.Grateful my test on Friday wasn't too hard. I think all my studying paid off and I'm pretty sure I got at least a B on the test.

3.Grateful that me and Will got to spend a wonderful weekend in Tunica at the Sheraton Hotel with my mom, dad, Janice, Kelly, and her boyfriend LT. It was Kelly's 21st birthday and I'm just really grateful I got to see everyone.

4.Grateful I got to have a fun afternoon shopping with Kelly at the outlet mall near the Tunica casinos. We haven't been able to shop together for a while and we got to take advantage of some wonderful sales.

5.Grateful my dad was able to bring me some German foods from the commissary on Ft. Campbell. I am unable to get items such as potato balls and German vinegar here in Memphis.

How nice that you were able to spend the weekend w/your family!

I didn't realize your family was/is military. We have a German unit on the base here and I wish we were allowed to shop in their commissary! I have found a website: www.germandeli.com that I've ordered from before.

Too funny that Janice thought Kayla was her when she was a girl!
